Golden Soy 42% Soybean Meal
Not All Soybean Products are alike!!

The Old Process Soybean Meal has many different nutritional advantages by using heat and pressure to manufacture our Golden Soy. Bypass protein: This often overlooked diet factor is a type of protein that bypasses digestion in the rumen and is absorbed as amino acids in the lower digestive tract. This can cause increased milk production and increased feed efficiency. University lab tests have shown that old process meal contains over 53% bypass protein from its total crude protein content. Therefore over one half of the protein available can be utilized where it is most needed.

A Careful Blend of Protein and Energy:

University testing has shown that feed rations with elevated levels of energy can depress protein utilization. Protein then
becomes a limiting factor for milk production. This problem becomes apparent in rations that are high in protein, but with limited energy availability. Golden Soy offers the best of protein and energy availability in one feed ingredient. With a high protein content (42%) and optimum level of fat from soybean oil, ration balancing can be accomplished easily with less need for purchasing additional fats or oils.

Increased Ration Acceptance:

Hot weather feeding reluctance can cause feed consumption problems. Golden Soy will always get the most from your dairy ration. With it's fresh, pleasing aroma, and it's full flavored taste, Golden Soy encourages cattle to eat in all types of conditions.

High Dry Matter Intake:

The proper level of dry matter intake (DMI) is essential for increase milk production in animal performance. Golden Soy has a low Neutral Detergent Fiber (NDF) level. When the NDF of the ration is lowered, the cow's dry matter intake can increase.

OUR PROCESSING PROTOCOL

1. Soy producer delivers to our Producer-owned elevator.
2. Producer owned elevator transfers beans to Producer owned Crush Plant.
3. Beans are then run across a Rotary screener.
4. From screener, beans are conveyed to a roller mill and ground.

5.
The ground product is then run over a shaker to separate
the hulls.
6. After hulls are removed the beans go through a cooking process.
7. Next the product is pressed separating the oil.
8. After the oil and meal are separated, the extruded meal goes through a hammer mill and this is the finished product.
9. Product is then cooled and stored for shipment.

PRODUCERS COOP IS PROUD TO BE FARMER OWNED!! OUR PRODUCT IS EXTRUDED FROM LOCALLY GROWN SOYBEANS.

Producers Cooperative Assn. Is a farmer owned organization located in the Southeast corner of Kansas. Organized in 1948, it has been the leader in Agricultural Business in this region. PCA began processing Soybeans in 1949 and has been a processor of Golden Soy since that time.

Producers Cooperative Association takes pride in our Quality and we strive to assure that Quality stays consistent:

1. Three pounds of product are saved each 2 hour period
2. Samples are then mixed and sent to a certified lab for testing.
3. Because most of our product is produced in our local area, we find very little variance in our finished product.
